Hello Families and Graduates
Here are important reminders about graduation.
THURSDAY
At 6pm we will have our class night. First we start with the robbing ceremony. This will last about an hour. After the ceremony we will have a brief 10 minute break and then we will transition into our scholarship recognition ceremony.
FRIDAY
Seniors have MANDATORY PRACTICE at 10am. They need to be in the big gym by 9:45am.
SATURDAY
Seniors must park in the back of the high school by the solar panels. Seniors MUST be in the gym by 9am.
Parents
Graduation will be on Anaya Field weather permitting. Should we have to move graduation INSIDE to the gym, each graduate has been given 6 tickets. Due to capacity this is all we can offer.

Parking will be limited and on a first come first serve basis. Parents can park on campus. Parking is also available at the baseball field and the softball fields on the north side of the stadium.
Seating is first come first served.
No canopies will be allowed. Umbrellas and tall chairs that block anyone’s view will also not be allowed.
A cash concession stand will be available.
No one will be allowed on the football field until graduation is over. This year’s class will partake in a walk around after graduation. They will circle the track. After they have completed the walk, parents and families will be allowed on the football field.
Only bottled water will be allowed on the turf.

General info:
The LaDainian Tomlinson Football Training Camp (Camp LT) is open to all student athletes between the ages of 8 and 18. Campers are separated by grade and ability and will be assigned to a veteran coaching staff with a 10 to 1 ratio. The camp provides full-time supervision for all campers. Parents are welcome to attend all activities.
Camp Features and Goals:
CampLT is designed to give young student athletes insight into what their future levels of competition will be like both academically and athletically. Our goal is to enable student athletes to reach peak performances on and off the field.
What Will Be Taught:
Throughout the day, former NFL stars, college athletes, and professional coaches will conduct in-depth instruction geared specifically to individual technique in all aspects of football. Practice sessions will consist of fundamentals of each position, several speed work and agility drills, game strategies, life lessons, and individual & team competitions.


Taos Municipal Schools Summer Food Program! We proudly offer breakfast and lunch programs, ensuring all participants have access to nutritious meals that support their well-being and development.

Due to continued hazardous weather conditions and dangerous roads, as reported by the National Weather Service and local forecasts, all Taos Municipal Schools, including the district administration building, will be closed on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

❄️ 2-Hour Delay Tomorrow – Tuesday January 21, 2025 ❄️
Due to extreme cold temperatures, all Taos Municipal Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, January 21, 2025.
The National Weather Service forecasts a low of -8°F in Taos tonight, with wind chill values possibly reaching -21°F, which could lead to hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
🚨 Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect from 5 PM Monday through 11 AM Tuesday (Jan. 21).
Please dress warmly, limit time outdoors, and stay safe. Thank you for your understanding!
