FUNDRAISERS:

Haunted House/Parlor Games--In conjunction with Taos Youth and Family Center and the Town of Taos, the Senior Class of 2009 will participate in making the haunted house and parlor games the best it can possibly be.  Our class officers will help out the Youth Center in  any way possible. 

Turkey Raffle Ticket Sale -- All Senior Senate members will participate in a Turkey Raffle Ticket sale. Tickets sell for $1 apiece Raffle Tickets will be passed out Thursday, November 1st during a mandatory Junior Senate meeting.  Senate members must participate in the Turkey Raffle in order to be eligible for selection of Prom Theme.  Ticket money is due to Alice Romero in the Athletics Office by Monday, November 19th.

Class T-shirts  We will be ordering Class of 2009 t-shirts with our signatures.  These shirts will be ordered but must be prepaid ($15) apiece. 

Citizenship Projects

• Walk-A-Mile-In-My-Shoes- - Dreamtree Walk-a-thon -- 6 miles to the Gorge Bridge to raise money for Dreamtree's special teen emergency shelter -- the Treehouse.
• Pledge Against Gun Violence.  Taos High School with the Junior Class leading will take a pledge against Gun Violence.   Part of Safe Schools Week October 22-26th. 
• Taos Feeds Taos.  The Annual pledge to collect 5,000 pounds of food or more to feed our neighbors who don't have much.
• Angel Tree Project.  To participate in giving toys to less fortunate children.
