Major accomplishments include over 220 career victories and a Class AA Boys State Championship @ Questa H.S (25-6) and 3rd place in 1993-94(20-10); Taos High School Varsity Boys Basketball Coach (2000-2004) compiling overall mark of 74-46; District 2-3A Champions (2000)Third @ State(22-6); District 2-4A Runnerup-State Qualifier-Elite Eight(17-9)2004; Class AA Coach of the Year, 1993,1994. Currently, Taos H.S. Freshman English teacher/ Varsity Boys Track and McCurdy H.S. Girls Basketball Coach (24-7)Final Four. The secret to coaching is getting your players to buy into a proven system, getting them to play toward their strenghts and believing in themselves. I feel the mediocre coach tells; the good coach explains; the superior coach demonstrates; but the great coach inspires. HobbiesPersonal interests include coaching varsity basketball and track. I am an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys weight training and running. Furthermore, I am a free lance sports journalist who enjoys spending time with my family hanging out at home reading, listening to music, and watching movies.
