About the Taos Municipal Schools School Based Health Centers (SBHC) Program

The Teen Clinic at Taos High School and the Wellness Center at Taos Middle School are your School-Based Health Centers. We are here for the health and education of Taos youth, students and staff. Youth, students, faculty, and staff don’t have to miss school to receive health care. They can access health care conveniently and confidentially, right at school. Services we provide include Primary Care, Physical Exams and Treatment, Reproductive Health Services, Laboratory Tests, Referrals, Mental Health Services, and Prevention Education.

We are governed by National and New Mexico Assemblies on School-Based Health Care, and Taos Municipal Schools. We work with school nurses, community primary care providers, and Taos Municipal Schools. We will uphold and respect their policies, regulations, faculty and staff. We are here to serve the school community and we are looking forward to collaborating with you to make Taos High School a healthy school environment.
