The Taos High School Varsity Cheerleaders have been offered the opportunity to perform at the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl in San Diego, Calif., with cheer and dance teams from all across the country in the Holiday Bowl half-time show and nationally televised Big Bay Balloon Parade.

The team is seeking donations to defray the cost of the trip, which totals about $30,000.

The girls work throughout the year in various fundraisers to pay for uniforms, travel expenses and competition fees, but the trip to San Diego goes above and beyond the limits of fundraising, so they are looking for corporate sponsors.

In return for donations, the squad will recognize a donor-company’s support by identifying the company’s level of sponsorship on all promotional materials printed relating to the team, such as performance T-shirts, the cheerleading team’s Web site and a sponsors’ board in the Taos High School gymnasium, as well as being mentioned on the radio as one of the team’s sponsors.

Sponsor levels are: Platinum, $5,000; Gold, $2,500 and above; Silver, $1,500 and above; Bronze, $100-$1,000.
